Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Audio Engineer to join our roster of freelance creatives. The ideal candidate has a sharp ear for detail, understands how to shape sound to enhance storytelling, and can handle everything from on-site recording to post-production mixing. You’ll help bring clarity, depth, and emotion to our projects across video, podcast, and live event production.
Key Responsibilities

Record high-quality audio on set, in studio, and during live events.

Mix, edit, and master dialogue, music, and sound effects for video, podcast, and broadcast content.

Troubleshoot and manage audio setups, microphones, and field recording gear.

Ensure all recordings are clean, balanced, and free from unwanted noise.

Collaborate with producers, directors, and editors to achieve the desired tone and quality.

Maintain organized project files and deliver final audio in required formats.
Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in audio engineering or sound design.

Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or Logic Pro.

Strong knowledge of signal flow, gain staging, EQ, compression, and mixing fundamentals.

Experience recording both in studio and on location.

Attention to detail and commitment to sound quality.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have

Experience in podcast production or live sound mixing.

Knowledge of sync sound and audio post for video.

Compensation
