Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Camera Operator to support our production team on a freelance basis. This role involves capturing high quality video content for interviews, events, commercial shoots, and on-location productions. You will work closely with our producers and creative team to bring each project’s vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate professional video cameras and related gear during filming

• Capture clean, visually compelling footage that aligns with project direction

• Follow shot lists and creative direction while also identifying opportunities for improved framing or composition

• Ensure proper camera settings, exposure, focus, white balance, and audio levels

• Set up and break down camera equipment efficiently and safely

• Collaborate with team members, talent, and clients on set

• Maintain organized media files and support smooth handoff to post-production

• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly when needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating cinema or mirrorless camera systems in a professional setting

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, frame rate, shutter, lenses, and basic audio setup

• Ability to adapt to changing environments and shoot styles

• Ability to take direction and also work independently when needed

• Reliable, punctual, and professional on set

• Strong communication skills and a positive working attitude

• Access to personal camera and support gear is preferred but not required

Nice to Have:

• Experience in lighting setup or grip

• Experience flying drones or operating gimbals

• Experience shooting interviews and documentary style content
