VAV Cattle Co. is a family-run Colorado ranch built on integrity, wellness, and community. Founded by Dr. Alan Villavicencio, a world-renowned brain and spine surgeon, volunteer firefighter, and family man, the ranch began as a personal mission to raise clean, local food his family could trust. What started with a few head of cattle has grown into a thriving operation offering premium locally raised beef, fresh-cut hay, firewood, and more. Every product reflects the Villavicencio family’s dedication to quality, hard work, and healthy living.

Goal: Create a professional digital presence for VAV Cattle Co. that reduces repetitive customer inquiries, communicates products and pricing with clarity, and captures the authentic spirit of ranch life through purposeful storytelling. The website and brand video were designed to give customers an immediate understanding of what the ranch offers while giving Dr. Villavicencio more time to focus on his work in surgery and on the ranch.

Challenge

VAV Cattle Co., owned by Dr. Alan Villavicencio, a respected surgeon and passionate rancher, needed a way to streamline communication with customers. Dr. Villavicencio sells a variety of products, from premium beef and hay to straw, peanut butter, and branded merchandise. But his busy schedule left little time to answer constant calls and inquiries.

He wanted a professional, visually striking website that could handle these interactions for him; one that clearly presented his products, prices, and story while capturing the spirit of ranch life.

Solution

Boxing Bear Media worked closely with VAV Cattle Co. to design a website that balanced functionality with visual storytelling. We built an easy-to-navigate site that allowed visitors to explore the ranch’s products, learn about its heritage, and connect directly through clear calls-to-action.

To complement the web experience, our team embarked on two full-day film shoots - one during a cattle branding and another on a cattle drive. The result was a cinematically shot video showcasing the grit, beauty, and authenticity of ranch life. The tone was deliberately rustic and grounded, evoking the cowboy spirit that defines the brand.
